How do I access the full text of a resource on the new EBSCOhost interface?

Answer

After completing a search in EBSCOhost, each search result will have an "Access Options" button that opens a dropdown menu. In the dropdown menu and depending on the item's availability, you may see one or more of the following ways to access the full text of it.

Check CU Libraries' Holdings

When selecting this option, you will be redirected to that item's record within JaySearch where additional full text availability will be shown. Focus your attention to the middle of the webpage for a section titled "View Online." This will have a list of additional library databases that provide access to the full text of the item.

EPUB Full Text

This button will take you to the full text of the item which can be read in your browser and/or downloaded in an EPUB format. You can download this content in an EPUB format for reading on a device which supports this format. EPUB is similar to PDF in functionality.

Linked Full Text

When selecting Linked Full Text, you will be directed to a page that includes details of the item, such as article authors, DOI, subject area, keywords, abstract, and more. There will also be an option to view the full text in your browser and/or download the article.

PDF Full Text

This button will take you to the full text of the item which can be read in your browser and/or downloaded in a PDF format. You can download, print, and email this content. However, some items may have restrictions on the amount that can be downloaded, printed, and shared at one time due to publisher/copyright restrictions.
