I am a faculty member at Creighton. Can I make an appointment with the library for help with my research?

Answer

Yes! The Creighton University Librarians are able to help with many areas of faculty, resident, and staff, research such as:

  • Define and narrow your research topics
  • Identify library resource or tools to meet your needs
  • Manage and cite your sources correctly
  • Understand options for publishing and sharing research
  • Complete a literature search of the published literature on a specific topic

You may reach out directly to a Library Liaison using our directory to schedule a consultation or by filling out the consultation request formLiterature search requests may be made by filling out the literature search request form. Results of the search will be delivered to the requester, generally via email or a shared folder on RefWorks.

Librarians accommodate drop-in appointments when possible. If you are located on the Omaha campus, stop by the Research Center located on the second floor of the Reinert Alumni Memorial Library in suite 204 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you are located on the Phoenix campus, stop by the Health Science Library - Phoenix located on the second floor of the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Building.
